The Agricultural Operating System

One ecosystem connecting farmers, traders, markets, suppliers and consumers — with an AI advisory layer at its core. Farmer-first. Free for farmers, forever.

Why we built it

Farming in Kenya doesn't lack effort. It lacks information.

A farmer can tell you exactly how hard the last season was. What they often cannot tell you is what today's price is three sub-counties over, what the disease on the leaf actually is, or whether the buyer on the phone will pay once the lorry is loaded.

Every one of those gaps has someone standing in it taking a cut. The broker knows the price and the farmer does not. The agrovet is the nearest thing to an advisor and is stretched across hundreds of farms. Payment depends on trusting a stranger. The work is not the hard part — the missing information is.

Agri OS puts all of it in one place: diagnosis, prices, advisory and protected payment, on the phone the farmer already owns. And it stays free on the farmer side, permanently, because the person with the thinnest margin should not be the one paying for the tool.

What's inside

Four pillars, one connected ecosystem.

Each pillar is useful on its own. Together they cover the whole distance from a problem on a leaf to money safely in a pocket.

AI Plant Diagnosis

Photograph a sick plant and get the problem identified. The advice an extension officer would give, on the phone already in the farmer's hand, at the moment the problem is spotted.

Real-Time Market Pricing

Live prices across physical markets, sub-county by sub-county. The information gap between the farmer and the broker at the roadside is where most of the margin disappears — this closes it.

Farm Advisory

Planting forecasts, seasonal demand signals and weather intelligence — so what goes into the ground is a decision, not a gamble on what worked last year.

Secure Escrow

Payment is protected and released on confirmed delivery. Neither side has to trust a stranger with a lorry; both sides can trade with someone they have never met.

The Marketplace

Produce and livestock listed by the farms that grew them, bought in bulk by traders or direct by consumers — with escrow behind every deal.

Learn

Location-tagged lessons, crop courses and bootcamps — taught by the farmers and instructors who already know what works in that soil.

Who it's for

Five roles. One ecosystem.

A marketplace with only farmers on it is a noticeboard. Agri OS is built so every side of the trade has a reason to show up.

FarmersAlways free

The centre of gravity. List produce and livestock, get AI advisory and market intelligence — completely free.

Traders

Source produce in bulk, read demand signals, negotiate in-app and close protected deals.

Suppliers

Sell medicine, feeds and fertilizer — with demand heat maps showing exactly where to stock.

Consumers

Order fresh produce direct from farms and markets, delivered to your door.

Instructors & machinery owners

Teach in the Learn section or put idle machinery to work — expertise and equipment are inputs too.

How it's built

Built for the conditions, not the demo.

Most agri platforms fail on the last mile: they assume a connection, a smartphone and a card. Agri OS assumes none of those.

Free for farmers, forever

No fees, no commissions on the farmer side — ever. The platform earns from traders, suppliers and premium data, because a tool that taxes the person with the thinnest margin does not get used.

Low-bandwidth first

Built for a weak rural signal, not a fibre connection. If it only performs in town, it is not built for farming.

The phone people already own

Designed for entry-level Android and small screens. No new hardware, no app that eats a month of data to install.

A civic layer, not just a market

Agri OS also connects farmers to local government leaders and agricultural extension officers — the people whose decisions shape a season.

Where it runs

Nakuru County first. Deliberately.

Market intelligence is only worth anything if it is local. Agri OS started with the sub-counties we can actually stand in — Nakuru, Bahati, Njoro, Molo and Gilgil — and grows outward from there, county by county, at the speed the data stays true.

Join the ecosystem as your role

Farmer, trader, supplier, consumer or instructor — sign up on Agri OS and pick the role you actually play. Farmers get started free and stay free.

Who's behind it

The same team that builds the systems.

Agri OS is built and run by Steff Cloud Limited — a registered Kenyan company in Nakuru that builds websites, systems and automations for businesses, and runs its own operations on software it wrote. Agri OS is a product, not one of our six service lines: you can't hire us to do it, you can use it.
